GIPS Verification Complete

It is part of our firm-wide philosophy to consistently adhere to the highest ethical standards set forth in our industry. The Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) are a set of ethical principles that establish a standardized, industry-wide approach to how investment firms should calculate and report their investment results to ensure fair representation and full disclosure. The GIPS were based on and preceded by the AIMR Performance Presentation Standards. On January 1, 2006, the AIMR-PPS® standards converged with the GIPS standards to create a singular industry-wide guideline for performance calculation and reporting.

The GIPS aim to provide a uniform, comprehensive representation of performance. This enables clients to compare investment results objectively and promotes transparency among investment managers. The GIPS were developed by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and are continuously being refined.

Although compliance with GIPS is voluntary, we have chosen not only to comply with the suggested standards but to also engage an outside performance verification firm to independently certify our performance calculation and reporting processes. Truepoint's compliance with GIPS has been officially verified by Ashland Partners & Company LLP. Based in Medford, Oregon, Ashland Partners is the leading specialty firm providing GIPS verification and compliance consultation services to the investment management industry.

Compliance with GIPS provides a high level of credibility to the calculation and presentation of investment performance history. A firm that claims compliance with GIPS demonstrates an acceptance of ethical standards, transparency and integrity - these are immensely valuable attributes for firms seeking to manage other people's money.
